new food for the guppies

gave the gups some of the new bee pollen last night and they went wild! i wasn't nearly as impressed with the smell as they were. long after it was
gone they were searching for more. fry loved it! (and that is who it is really for!)
gonna have to figure out how to handle the spirulina. maybe make a small mix of both pollen and spirulina with some powdered flakes for the fry.

Lol at the smell, Deb! It does have a very distinct odor... but I don't find it unpleasant.

I've eaten some myself, and it tastes remarkably similar to how it smells. Not bad really... just not something I'd run to the cupboard craving. But I thought it might be nice as a sweetener in some hot tea. Have yet to try it.

I'm so glad your guppies liked it! You'll have to let us know how the mix goes over.
