Fish food--Purina Aquamax
I purchase some angels from a old guy, yes he was older then me (I am not old). He had a huge fish room with 100s of adult breeders that were just under hand size and tons of smaller angels. He also had a ton of bristle nose pleco. He said those big angels are last years stock and were only a year old, I was amaze of the size of them. I asked him how he got them so big so fast and he said it is the food, Purina Aquamax . The size I feed angels is 100 which floats for angels and size 200 for bottom feeding fish such as plecos.
I did a search and found this stuff real cheap ($10 for a 5 lb bag, $55 for a 50 lb bag). I think I will get some of this in the near future.

Did you see some of this food? Is it a flake type if it floats? 5 lbs is a lot of flake food; I would like to try some if you got some. Is 5 lbs enough to share with the club? I'd be happy to pay for a 5 lb bunch that we could split up among all the members to try if you are ordering some. I'm always looking for food options.

I'd like to go in on some if possible of both of the sizes... 100's for my angels, and 200's for my cory cats. But I wouldn't need a LOT. Please just let me know. Thanks!

AB Hatchery has the 100 and can get the 200, but they come in 50lbs bags. Both of them are about $50 for the 50lbs but they wont sell them in partial bags.
If we can get enough people together to do the 50lbs we can split it up ourselves.
At $1 a pound, I'd proabably be in for 5-10 lbs.

food
count me in for 5lbs of each if you would. 100 / 200
figure I will give it a try. been kinda wanting to find a nice floating type of food for my angels and rainbows.
besides can we ever have enough food ?
I'll talk to my ex wife Katnapper and see if she is interested. She probably would be as well. But, she has been very busy with her Grandma (92 ?) fell and broke her hip so she probably has not seen the post.
Thx
Brad

Re: Fish food--Purina Aquamax
If the 6 of us are all interested in 5 lbs of each ($10), we're 30lbs on the way to 50.
Anyone else interested?

We are in for 5 lbs. of each
Brad (Gunfighter) and I don't *each* need 5 pounds of each (way too much food for either); but we discussed it and will take 5 pounds of each to split between us two.
