Dec 2015 meeting

Do we want to meet at a restaurant for a Xmas meal together or would people like to sit down and meet somewhere else and talk about a topic?

Any suggestions for topics for the next three meetings?

As far as a future topic... I like that idea of either going to The Shrimp Farm or having Ryan come to a meeting and talk about shrimp. Or did you guys already do that topic when I was "away?"

We haven't had Ryan in yet, I'll touch base with him and see if he can do January's meeting and if we can set up a buy soon.

There's Imperial Chinese buffet right down from Petco.  Good eats and you can't leave there hungry.  They have snow crab legs, mmm... my favorite, during dinner hours (not on lunch buffet) and on Sundays all day.  Reasonable - not cheap, but not real expensive either.  I get good coupons from them via text and they also come out in those circulars in the mail.  Here's a link to sign up to get text coupons from their loyalty club program.  Good coupons (like buy 1, get 2nd half price) and they come right on your phone so you don't have to remember to clip and bring coupon.

Doesn't have to be there... just a suggestion. I'm not picky.

I was glad to meet Kenneth at December's meeting!     And I enjoyed the meal with everyone, yum yum. I'm also glad to see Ryan will be coming to talk about shrimp at January's meeting at David's house.

I ended up going by Petco after the meeting and they had turquoise rainbowfish - a pleasant surprise! I got 8 and one had died before I could even get them out of the bag. I went back and exchanged him for another one; but he looked stressed after I got him in the tank and died within 2 days. Must have been bad luck or stress of moving as the 7 other original rainbowfish are doing just fine and starting to color back up.

Nice that they replace them.

Yes, that is an advantage when buying at the local stores. The bad thing is they normally don't have what you're looking for. I got lucky. And I guess I'd better get my butt in there and exchange this one before they run out.
