breeding LF leopard Danio

I tried my luck breeding some LF leopard Danio. From what I read it should be a no brainer. I will let you know the outcome in a couple of days.

Next time I will put white clouds and LF leopard Danio in the same tank to breed. They have the same breeding requirments.

I am wrong, white clouds have a diffrent breeding requirments then these.


The LF leopard Danio are starting to hatch. I am seeing black slivers stuck to the glass. I added another cup of green water to the tank. I will start adding micro worms in a few days.

I am going to add my breeders to another tank today and try it again. I purchase a few plastic shoe boxes ar the dollar store. I will use these for tanks so I should not run out of room.

Congrats Mark! That's pretty cool.

I might try the white clouds again. I think they are a very underappreciated fish as they make a very nice display when you have a bunch of them in a tank.

The little slivers are starting to swim.
