I know one of the local petstores (who shall not be named) carries them on occasion, but they are priced way to high. Your best bet is Wetspot on Aquabid. I bought mine thru them a long time ago. I never had any luck breeding them. Actually Matt from the club has/had some recently. You might ask him where he got them from.

G - are the ones you are thinking of what they call Galaxy Danios? No doubt everything in that store is over priced and under quality, but Galaxy Danios are pretty high at wholesale. 3-3.50 if I remember correctly.
They are darn pretty though.
Going back up there in October Mark if you want me to get you some.
