Leopard Puffer and Barbs

I just purchased a leopard puffer but as I was driving home I realized what tank am I going to put it in? Think the puffer will be ok with some tiger barbs? The puffer is already about 2"

It should be interesting. Puffers are slow moving but they are killers. Tiger barbs are fin nippers.

It was either that or my grow-out cichlid tank. He's got a little more room with the barbs.

Or you could always give in to the addiction and set up another tank...

So far so good. No casualties on either side and they seem to keep to themselves. I would love to add another tank but know it would somehow end up with cichlids in it like so many of my other tanks.
