Driftwood Collecting party!

If anyone is interested, we're going to have a driftwood collecting party Saturday the 9th.

Probably head up to Lake Bloomington and/or Evergreen. Anyone knows any better places I'm open to suggestions.

Looks like only a 10% chance of rain right now, but we'll see as time gets closer.

Probably need to bring saws, gloves and boots. Plus something waterproof to put them in for the ride home.

I can take 2 or 3 people with me in the van - reserve your spot soon!

We can decide time once we see who is interested, i'm pretty open.

This sounds great and I'm tentatively in! I say tentatively, because I'm having shoulder surgery on my right shoulder Wednesday. So will have to see how I'm feeling by Saturday. If I'm up to it I suspect I won't be able to do any sawing, etc... but I should be able to walk and use my other arm. Will have to let you know closer to time.

I can saw for you if you see something you like.

So far there is 3 of us, anyone else?

I'm thinking that's a good test if someone's a true friend... if they're willing to saw driftwood for you.    

Gah wish i would have joined the site earlier, i would have totally gone, how was the drift wood up there? any pics of good pieces? Sometime soon ill go around lake Springfield and see if there is anything good and let you guys know.

Hey, Adam. I think the driftwood expedition might have gotten put off for the moment. I wasn't up to going this past weekend and I'm not sure the other guys ended up going... so I think it's still on the table for an upcoming activity. I know I'd still like to go.

We ended up not going so we'll reschedule it at some point. Stay tuned.
