Bristle Nose Spawned Again

Just notices these this morning when I was giving them their zucchini.

Here is Dad. He kind of looks like he's smiling.




Hopefully have babies in a 9-10 days.

Cool!! Did you have luck with previous spawns, have growing bristlenoses?

Good pic of dad. I have one male bristlenose and usually only see him when I turn on the living room lights in the middle of the night and catch him out unaware. He hides in a furniture log most of the time.

I told everyone that something had eaten the eggs because he was no longer sitting on them. Not sure what the deal was or where they were, but here is what i found in the tank tonight. The water is kinda chunky because I had just got done netting some snails off the bottom.

Your videography skills must be getting better, I didn't even have to hang on to anything! You're really revving up the cuteness factor with these videos. I don't know which I want to hug more, the baby corries (those eyes and wiggly tails!) or these little bristlenoses. Congrats!!

I can't remember if you said... but did you have any success with previous spawns and growing them out to adulthood with these?

I have several of the albino plecos that survived to adulthood. The second spawn I had of regulars all died like the same day. Going throw everything I can at these little guys to see if I have more success.

Already feeding them driftwood, spinach, zucchini, algae chips and fish food.

Time will tell.
