Swap meet or auction?

Does your club have a swap meet soon? Can't find any info on the website. Figured there would be a schedule of events somewhere.

We don't do any of our own yet Andy, but Peoria and Campaign both do them.

Members often just post that they are looking for a certain fish, for example, and if other members have them there is often a "swap" or some other exchange between them or at the meeting of home grown local fish, snails, ad so on.
Some members seem to make just about every auction and a couple of the big swaps and share rides. The CAFE auction in January in Urbana is usually a very good one.
Also there are times when you can join in ordering over the web through a member and save on shipping. Keep an eye on daily posts on this forum. Usually there are several days notice and links if you need them.
Despite not having auctions or swaps, club members have several ways to get the best for their purchase dollar.
When these don't work, one or another member might know of a good place to get stuff.
