I know one guy in Collinsville and one guy in St. louis, you can also go to the GCCA web site and find some in Chicago. The GCCA web site is where I have had my best luck. I have some that are breeding so if I ever get things down I can make some sort of deal with you.

Re: Discus breeders in Peoria area?
I am going to contact Cozykeith from Wis. about buying some discus ( usually dime to quarter size) with pickup at the Sept 30 swap. I will be buying between 10 and 20 for myself. The more you buy the better price you get. I am not sure what he will have available but I have purchased from him in the past and have been very happy with the purchase.
If anyone else is interested let me know.
More details will be prvided after I see who may be interested.

Re: Discus breeders in Peoria area?
Keith has sent me the following e mail
I have two small batches of juvies I was intending to list for sale sometime before the end of this weekend. One of these batches are Red Turqs the largest of which are already in the 2 1/2 inch range. The other batch is a few weeks younger and are Red Cover/Virgin Reds. I normally don't list fish before they reach 2 inches and have been waiting to list any of them until the second batch hit this point. I also have a larger batch of small RTs that are just approaching the end of the eating bbs phase, about a month old. If you let me know if either of these options interests you I could shoot you a price.
Are you interested in any of these?

If you go to the simply discus forum web site and then go to the homesteader section then click onto the keith korner and click on. Keith has pictures of Red Cover/Virgin Reds on it now.
The Red Turqs are also there. These are the parents with previous spawns

Re: Discus breeders in Peoria area?
I am not sure, I plan on calling him tonight. The bigger they are the more they will cost. Usually the more you buy the cheaper you can get them for.
I will post the price when I get it.
There will also be new listings from other people on the GCCA web site when it gets closer to the 9/30 swap date.
It is really too early for me to make deals with people right now. I want to pick up at the swap and that is too far out.
I do not want to pay shipping because that will cost you a arm and a leg. Everyone ships overnight with discus and that cost.

Just saw this site in St. Charles, Mo, with discus. I was looking for high quality guppies and there are both so I'd be willing to drive to go look/ buy. http://richiesfishroom.com/Discus.html Anybody interested? Pops48

If you go to richiesfishroom.com you can pick up his web site. I'm interested in his guppies but car pooling would be great. I have his price list-- I'll e-mail to Mark since I have his e-mail address. Look through the web site first.
