Trip to Hawaii

I have to share the exciting news, and also that I won't be able to make it to May's meeting, because I am going to Hawaii May 4th through the 9th.
This is a long awaited, now likely once-in-my-adulthood lifetime experience for me - and possibly for my son, Jesse, also. My father was in the Navy, stationed at Pearl harbor, when I was very young and we lived there until we came back to Illinois and family in 1973 when I was 7. I've always wanted to return, not only for the beauty and weather - but from a deeply sentimental, and long-held yearning to see the place of my childhood again. I also want this experience for Jesse.
I'm so excited... I just had to share.
