GCCA meeting and auction
The GCCA has a meeting coming up this Sunday. I've not been to one of their meetings before. When I lived in San Jose, I used to go to Pacific Coast Cichlid Assn meetings. A PCCA auction would often go until midnight with dozens of bags of fish being sold.
But, the PCCA does not hold swap meets.
I'm mainly interested in attending the GCCA meeting for the auction. Is it worth my time?

I do not think any of us have been to the GCCA meeting but if you go let us know.

I did go. I was worth the effort.
Most of the meeting was a presentation (too long!) by Dan Sharifi, a commercial breeder of Central and South American Cichlids. He manages to make a living off his hobby.
The auction was, maybe, 20 bags of fish, mostly fry. I bought 4. One was a bag of 10 Labeotropheus fuelleborni. I only want five or so. If anyone wants to come to my house and net 5 of them, they're yours.
Driving back to Normal in the rain alone was a bitch.

"a presentation (too long!)" haha!
Well, I'm glad it was worth it in the end.
