Platinum Blue angelfish
Quarter size (or larger), standard fin, Platinum Blue Angelfish. These angels are the result of a cross between a Platinum Blue Pearlscale male and a Philippine Blue female. The resulting fry are a mix of Philippine Blue and Platinum Blue,
I am picking up some of these at the swap on 4/22/12. If any one wants me to pick up some for them at $5 each let me know.
I think this is a good price at this size,

Well I'm hoping for about 4 of the platinums, and maybe a variety of others but how many would you recommend for my tank, and besides the blues, any that you would think would be a good match. Also any clues as to what I could come up with for a compatible tank mate?

As far as stocking yout tank , it depends what you like. I would not go with more then 10 angels, a 1/2 dozen corys and two plecos. I would also try to get some fast swimming fish such as tetras and a couple of groumis.

Adam, on our forum has some nice angels. I would not want Adam to get a fat head but I do not think you can buy angels from anywhere that are much better then his. I have some from him that I am growing out for breeding stock.

I have to agree. I've gotten most of my angels from Adam and they are awesome!

What size tank do you have and how many do you want? Do you also want some blue groumis or severums?
Is your tank up and running?

Re: Platinum Blue angelfish
Hi Mark......I have 3 30 gallon tanks.....one tall.....in the tall one there is a red tailed shark, and an algae eater, the other two tanks....one has 2 puffers and 1 white molly and an albino cory, and in the last tank i have only a pleco, red tailed shark and silver cat fish......Maybe 6 angel fish fry would be good, the gouramis.... can the be put in with anything. The bottom dwellers in my tanks are fairly large and I would be willing to give them away in order to have the unique platy tank as well as the angel fish....I am currently working on 2 more 55 gal tanks....that are not up and running yet....This will be first meeting i've attended...could you tell me if i need to bring anything with me please? Thx Carissa

Re: Platinum Blue angelfish
All you need to bring to the meeting is a smile.
Be careful with those puffers, they are nice looking but they are killers. They will eat your other fish.
The gouramis will fit in with almost everything except africans.
