lessons learned the hard way

I came home late last night and went downstairs to feed the fish when I found almost every last jikin goldfish dead at the surface of the stock tank and a whole box of catfood swelled up and floating in the water with the stupid cat sitting on the counter meowing. That cat almost lost every one of his nine lives. I manages to save one goldfish but the rest are gone and I won't be able to replace them. Kinda devastated by it.

I have a friend who owns a Chines restaurant who would be willing to take the cat.

Oh no, Gina!!!  You know I love cats; But I can (unfortunately) sooo see one of them doing something like this.  And then they look at you like, "What?!"  They don't mean to cause havoc (or do they?), hmmm...

I feel for you.  I can only try to imagine what you felt when you discovered the scene.

Kinda sad and heartbroken...it has not been a good fish month.
