Fruit Flies
David and Brad - Don't start feeding out those fruit flies to your fish yet. The cultures will need to mature and populate a bit before you expend the breeding stock. When you get a lot of new flies, wait a few days and then start new cultures with some of them. You can then feed off the rest throughout the remaining lifespan of the original/old culture.

Re: Fruit Flies
Becky - Thanks for a great demo and the stuff. I'll hold off doing anything with them for a while.
Fantastic info, thanks again.

Re: Fruit Flies
If anyone who missed the meeting would like a starter culture of either D. melanogaster or D. hydei and basic instructions, please let me know. I do have some culture supplies if needed also.
