Hey guys so i have a male and a female red wag swordtail and i was wondering how old do they need to be before they can start to breed?

If they are of breeding age, it generally takes 6-8 weeks for fry to show up. Breeding age will depend on size of the fish. If well fed, most should reach breeding age as early as 3-4 months. If you can tell the difference between male and female...they are probably old enough to breed. Very Happy
