Pet Connection - Lincoln, IL

Drove down to Pet Connection in Lincoln today. We saw it when we were in Lincoln for the Balloon Fest last weekend.

Not the largest pet store I've ever been in, but they did have a lot of animals. Many birds, small animals and reptiles that all looked well cared for. I was a little disapointed with the number of fish tanks (about 20, all freshwater), but they had some nice fish. Being very critical, the tanks could have used a little cleaning and the selection could be been a little more creative, but overall a very nice store for Lincoln.

Brought back memories of the old Pet Supply in Normal before they expanded into the back room. Very cluttered, but something neat everywhere you looked.

Guy that was there couldn't have been nicer. I got a pretty good deal on (2) 1" Blue Lobsters

With some help with the fish tanks, and a little creative ordering, I'd give the Pet Connection two fins up! :-)

Worth the visit if you are in the area.

Went back by this store yesterday and it's still about the same except I believe they got rid of some tanks. A lot of very cool reptiles, but the fish selection was still a little underwhelming. Great shop though.
