killifish fry
I had just purchase my first pair of killifish. I moved my last rosy barbs outside to make room for the killis in a 20 long with lots of plants. I saw a fry yesterday already however, is it rosy barb fry or killifish fry? I don't think they have been in the tank longer than a week? Does anyone know how long the hatch rate is for gardneri in room temp tank water?

Re: killifish fry
One source I found Mark says 16-18 days. Seems a bit long, but thats what it said. Also said the fry are free swimming immediately. Maybe thats why they take so long.
Beautiful fish.

killifish and more killifish
Okay so now I have a lot of killifish now. A lot easier than I thought, just add water. Males and females growing out, should have some to take to auction in January if I don't sell them off on aquabid first. I don't understand why these fish are not popular? You never see them in the pet stores.
