Eastland Mall Show
I dont quite have all the details yet, but it looks like Eastland is going to let us have some sort of event at the Mall.
I'm going to talk to the guy Monday and get details/options and I'll let everyone know what I find out.

Re: Eastland Mall Show
Kyle from the Mall called me yesterday and here are the details.
Thye would charge us $250 for the space in the January-February time frame. We would need insurance which would run about $200.
I think the best option would be to build display racks.
Of course all of this will cost $$$ so we'll need donations of that and time to get this together. I have pledged to donate some of the proceeds from the October Missouri Swap (assuming there are any) to the cause.
I think this is a turning point for the club as to if we are going to get out there and get our name in the public eye. This could be a great way to get more people in the club and be able to do things like swaps, auctions etc.
Thoughts anyone?

I still like the idea of selling off excess fry from our breeding contests/projects to benefit the club. let the fish pay for some of it. the fall swaps are an excellent place to make said moneys imo

Anyone who has fry to donate I can take it to the Fall Missouri Swap and see what they will do.

Re: Eastland Mall Show
I would be willing to build the racks and deliver them to the mall! I will try and help with watching the display as much as I can but I now work about 55-60 hrs a week! I have a few tanks also that could be used! I have a pair of kribensis and a pair of dwarf gouramis that are looking very good!!
I am sure there are a lot of details that I have missed............ So looking forward to talking about whats been going on with the club!
