I had always heard that you could not re-use saltwater to hatch more BS that you already used to hatch BS.

Myth has been busted.

I filtered out the BS, then filtered out the remaining eggs with a coffee filter. When I re-used the water they hatched just fine. Only tried it twice, but it does work.

You can do it 4 or 5 x and then it start to smell.

I reuse my salt batch all the time, especially if I'm out of salt. I've never heard anything to the contrary but like Mark said, it really starts to smell. I can usually get two uses and then it smells and the hatch rate goes down.  Very Happy
