Ok, I looked at the plants on line / e bay and they are expensive.  On E bay they had seeds for sale.  That got me to think ( that does not happen often) so I went on you tube and looked how io start them  A you tube guy said he purchase his seeds at a craft store.  Off to the craft store I went. Hobby lobby had them.  I took about 15 seeds out, scouring the seeds and put them in water.  We will see if any of them start to grow.

DAY-2
I looked at the seeds, 15 total- 13 seeds were filed down a little as recommended in the you tube video. These seeds outer shell were softer but still hard. I took knife and pulled a little of the shells off to get to the white inside;
Two seeds I did not do any filing down and just stuck them in the water. These seeds were still very hard. I filed these seeds down and warmed a glass of water in the microwave for 15 seconds. All seeds were put back in the glass.

15 out of 15 have sprouted, One of the sprouts have broke off for unknown reasons. Two sprouts have reached the top of my small glass. 14 of the seed sprouts will be moved to a tall vase. The sprout that broke off will be removed. From what I have read you can eat these, I may be able to tell you what they taste like soon.

A second batch will be started today. I will start a new batch every weekend until the next meeting for a demonstration.

If anyone want one of these at next mth meeting let me know.

It looks like the first batch are starting a second sprout. Some of the seeds are starting to float. I will put these seeds in a pot in order to hold them down

The second batch are just starting to sprout. I took the outer shell off of all of these today.
